Spring 2022: CDS x CRAAV Roundtable

Moderated by Kobi Khong, with panelists Joyce Wang, Natalie Wang, Sheharyar Imran, Dr. Stuart Schrader, Dr. Yumi Kim, and Dr. Christy Thornton, we held a roundtable to discuss the working group's proposal for a new academic major on campus.

Fall 2022: Department of Reparations Panel

With support from RIC, this event featured Dr. Nathan Connolly and Joyce Wang of JHU along with Dr. Adom Getachew of UChicago and Dr. Lisa Lowe in conversation.

Fall 2022: Asian Diasporas in Baltimore

We piloted a class taught by Dr. Yumi Kim, Asian Diasporas in Baltimore, seeking to uncover how and why local histories of Asian American and diasporic peoples have been suppressed, as well as to engage in collaborative and reparative work in response to such suppression.

Fall 2023: What Comes Next After Affirmative Action

Presentations and Q+A from Dr. Nathan Connolly, Sheharyar Imran, and Natalie Wang regarding the past, present, and future of the "diversity" regime in higher education.
